How do we Undercoat your vehicle

Vehicle Preperation

we begin by a visual inspection of the vehicle. Remove the spare tire if installed under the vehicle. Fender flares, wheel liners and mud flaps are removed to provide complete coverage of the undercoating product.

wash and descale

Next the underside is completely washed using a high powered presure washer and begen the descaleing process. descaleing is neccesary to make sure any loose coatings and rust is removed. *heavy rust will require heavy descaling at an extra cost.

applying the undercoating product.

we use Fluid Film Black which is oil based coating that penetrates deep into the metal to diplace water and oxygen. this will stop rust in its tracks and maintain the vechile in its current state. the product is tinted black to give a new vehicle appearance.

reinstall and wash

after the entire underside of your vehicle is coated all wheel liners, skid plates, mudflaps, body plugs, etc. are reinstalled and any areas that have overspray on them are wiped off. At the very end the vehicle receives a complementary hand wash to ensure there is no oil overspray on the exterior of the vehicle and is ready for customer pick up

key tips for after pick up

It is ideal not to wash the underside of the vehicle for at least 3-6 months. the road grime and dust from the road will stick to the oil and provide an extera layer of protection. recoats are recommend every 2 years under normal use. heavy use is recommend every year to assure your vehicle is protected.
